The Pips
It was her friend’s birthday the other night so we all went to The Mint karaoke bar. It was a blast! She got on stage and sung and I couldn’t stop smiling. I could see how much fun she was having just singing her song and belting away. She had a little back-up help with her friends, but she definitely rocked it front and center. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say she loved the lime-light…
My personal favorite part of the evening was when we sang a duet together. She picked “Somethin’ to Talk About” by Bonnie Rait. I was definitely pretty nervous (singing in front of crowds isn’t my forte), but with her by my side I felt brilliant…sure there were a bunch of people in the bar, but during that song, it was just her and me…and I loved it!
