Child of the 80’s
Although, she was only 5 when the 80’s came to a close, she is still a die-hard fan of the music of that generation. I can honestly tell you that 80’s music just doesn’t sit well with me. So, many months ago when she wanted to go see an 80’s cover band, I was initially skeptical…and yet, they rocked! And yes, I knew all the words to the songs.
Last night it was her turn to plan a date night and she went all out. She got us tickets to see this cover band (Tainted Love) again at a bigger better venue. We were right up the stage. Like so close that she was touching the singer’s legs as he sang (basically to her). I loved it. Loved every second of it. I still don’t like 80’s music, but when these guys play, they rock! More over though, I love that she loves 80’s music.
